Webmail & Email

POP3 NOTES:

1. POP mail downloads messages off of the server on to the machine where the email is being checked
2. You won't be able to view downloaded messages from any other machine.
3. Anyone with access to your computer can read your downloaded messages.

IMAP NOTES:

1. Your messages are stored on your personal email account on the mail server in the Operations.
2. You can access your email from any IMAP compatible email software. (eg. Home, labs, kiosks, webmail)
3. You must supply the email password once per session the 1st time you open your email inbox and the 1st time you try to send a message.
